The freshman RHP gave COD 6 1/3 innings, striking out seven and walking three as COD captured the Great Lakes District title with a 13-2 victory over Terra State on Friday in Sandusky, Ohio. The victory gave COD its third-ever berth in the Baseball World Series that begins May 25 in Auburn, N.Y.
