The College of DuPage Athletic Hall of Fame was created to honor those student-athletes, coaches, and support staff whose actions and achievement in their sport brought distinction to the college. Those individuals honored are recognized for their outstanding athletic achievements, sportsmanship and character.

Individual Nominations
General — Athletic Careers must have ended at least five years prior to consideration for induction. Nominations from the general populace will be solicited through online nominations at www.gochapsgo.com. HOF committee members, coaches and athletic administrators also will submit nominations. The chair of the HOF committee will compile the Hall of Fame ballot from these nominations using criteria listed below.
 
Minimum accomplishments
Student-athletes who competed for at least one season in their respective sport while a student at COD.  To be nominated, an alumni athlete must have completed eligibility at least five years or more prior to the nomination.  The nominee's athletic achievements while attending COD, post-COD athletic achievements, personal accomplishments, sportsmanship while a COD student-athlete, and personal character are criteria for this award. 
 
Coach/Athletic Support Staff Criteria
To be considered an individual must be either a former COD coach, current COD coach, or been part of the athletic support staff.  Individual contributions to the COD athletic department such as coaching awards, team championships, success of program, and character development should be criteria for this award.
