Mike Bellamy — Football, Track, 1986-88
A top-notch two-sport athlete, Mike Bellamy helped head coach Bob MacDougall's teams win 18 of 22 football games in two seasons (1986-87) at his wide receiver position and he enjoyed an All-American season as a sophomore. On the track, he remains COD's school record holder in the 100 meters (10.36 seconds) and as a member of the 4 x 100 relay. He completed his collegiate career at the University of Illinois, where he was a second-team All-American and a first-team All-Big Ten receiver in 1989. Bellamy was a second-round selection by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 1990 NFL Draft. He also played for the Indianapolis Colts, Chicago Bears and Oakland Raiders (1992-95). Currently, he is the wide receivers coach at Illinois.

Jamie (Walters) Eickman — Volleyball, 1998-99
Jamie Walters Eickman was a focal point on the court by starring in her two seasons of Chaparrals volleyball. The Bloomingdale native helped her program become the first female COD program to win consecutive national championships, both under NJCAA Hall of Fame coach LuAnn Zimmick. The two-time All-American was the NJCAA tourney most valuable player her sophomore season. She completed her collegiate career at nearby Benedictine University, becoming one of only four to have 1,000 career digs and kills in Eagles' history. She later coached at Dominican University, Aurora University and Augustana College.

Jason Hyatt — Golf, 1997-98
Jason Hyatt played on two national championship golf teams for coach Erich Hauenstein (1997) and Lou Solarte (1998), capped by winning the 1998 NJCAA Division III individual championship. The Naperville native was the 1998 national player of the year, in addition to earning two All-N4C and one All-Region IV honor. Now in his 17th season as the Chaparrals' head coach, Hyatt has coached six Region IV title teams (2004, 2012-14, 17, 19). Eight of the Chaps' all-time 19 regional championships have come with Hyatt's involvement, either as a player or a coach.

Ron Ottoson— Track and Field, Cross Country, 1968-2003
Ron Ottoson built a track and field power over his 30-plus year association with the Chaparrals. He served as head coach from 1968-88, returned in 1994 for two seasons and later served as an assistant coach. Including his seven seasons as cross country coach (1968-74), he coached 93 track and field and three cross country All-Americans. Nine individuals won national championships under his direction and 20 of his teams won state outdoor or indoor championships. He totaled 19 state coach of the year accolades in both track and field, and cross country. He is a member of the NJCAA Hall of Fame (1993), the Illinois Track and Cross Country Coaches Association Hall of Fame (1980) and the Region IV Hall of Fame (2000). College of DuPage's track and field complex is named in his honor.

Chrissy (Vena) Sielen — Softball, 2000-01
Chrissy Vena Sielen played a critical role as a right-hander for the Chaps' softball program. The Glendale Heights native earned a pair of All-American honors and helped her teams win consecutive national championships in 2000 and 2001 under NJCAA Hall of Fame coach Deb DiMatteo. As a freshman, she was named the NJCAA tourney MVP after earning three wins and a save for the Chaps' title team. Then as a sophomore, she helped her team to a 43-9 overall record and win another NJCAA title while earning her second all-tourney honor.

Al Zamsky — Swimming, 1968-94
Al Zamsky served as College of DuPage's swim coach (1968-85; 89-91) and aquatics director (1968-94). He coached 12 men's and nine women's state championship teams. He was named COD's Outstanding Faculty Award winner in 1988, and in 2001, the College's aquatic center was named the Albert Zamsky Natatorium. The NJCAA recognizes Zamsky with its Al Zamsky non-scholarship male team award after each championship meet. A 1980 NJCAA Coaches Association Service Award recipient, Zamsky is a member of both the NJCAA and Illinois Swimming Coaches Hall of Fames.
