Chaparral Facilities

456 Bjarne Ullsvik Stadium is the home for Chaparrals football, soccer, and track and field. The host site for the annual Red Grange Bowl, the stadium lists a capacity of 5,000. The Ron Ottoson Track complex features an all-weather 400-meter track that is suitable for all field events. The facility is located on the far east end of campus.
Sark Park Sarkisian Park is one of the finest small college softball facilities in the Great Lakes region. The facility underwent an all-weather surface renovation in 2020, and features covered dugouts and batting cages just outside of the left-field and right-field foul lines. The facility seats 500 and is a great place to spend a spring afternoon. Parking is adjacent to the facility, located on the far east side of campus, and is free.
415 The COD tennis courts are adjacent to Sarkisian Park, located on the far east side of campus. Surrounded by trees, the tennis courts feature six full-sized acrylic based hard courts with wind screens covering the exterior of the facility. Aside from collegiate practices and matches, these courts are also used by physical education classes and the general public. Lights are a main feature of the court, allowing full use of the facility, day or night.

The Physical Education Center arena has a capacity of 4,620 and was part of the $24 million renovation that was completed in 2013. The center includes a 40,000 square-foot main arena with a 160-meter indoor track. Klaas Court is named after long-time men's basketball coach Don Klaas, who coached the Chaps for 35 years and led the College to a national championship in 2002. A 14,000 square-foot Varsity Athletic addition on the south side of the center houses facilities for the student athletes, including men's and women's locker rooms, a strength lab and a training room.
Cantigny GC
The Chaparrals practice at Cantigny Golf Club, one of the finest public golf facilities in the Midwest. The 27-hole facility, which includes a complete practice Academy, is located six miles west of the College in nearby Wheaton. Cantigny is the former estate of Colonel Robert R. McCormick, who was the long-time editor and publisher of the Chicago Tribune and played a major role in American journalism during the first half of the 20th century. The Chaparrals host their annual fall tournament at Cantigny.
 
458 A state-of-the-art, eight lane, 25-yard lap pool is a centerpiece of the Physical Education Center. The Albert Zamsky Natatorium is open to year-round to students and to the public. The facility also features a built-in ADA ramp and upstairs seating with a full locker room.
Baseball_park_picture_april_23 The COD baseball field is located in the far southeast section of the College, located near the intersection of Park Blvd. and College Drive. The field is symmetrical, boasting dimensions of 335 feet down the right, and left-field lines and 400 feet to center field. The facility comfortably seats 500 Chaparral fans and features batting cages near both dugouts.
