For the second time in as many weeks, Carmen has earned United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Athlete of the Week honors. Carmen ran her fastest 6,000-meter time of the season and PR'd by more than a minute as she placed 23rd at the Seminole Valley Stampede, hosted by Mount Mary in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Saturday.
