William placed seventh in the pole vault during Friday's opening day of the NJCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship in Lubbock, Texas. The Riverside native cleared a personal-best 4.63 meters (15 feet, 2 1/4 inches) and was the only D3 competitor in the event. He earned USTFCCCA All-American honors for his efforts.
