William is this week's NJCAA Athlete of the Week after he established a personal-best 15-feet, 11-inch in the pole vault during the St. Louis University meet March 28. He won the event and surpassed his previous high of 15-2 1/4, set at last month's NJCAA indoor meet in Lubbock, Texas, where he finished seventh and earned USTFCCCA All-American honors.
