Carmen established a school record time of 2 minutes, 21.88 seconds in the 800 meters this past weekend at the Chicagoland Outdoor held at Elmhurst. She narrowly missed out on a second record when she ran a personal-best 4:55.88, improving by nine seconds, in the 1500.
