The Chaps' top seven runners finished inside the top 11 to take the title for the second straight year. Joliet was second (42) and Harper third (72).

Keeling ran the 8,000-meter course in 26 minutes, 11.47 seconds. Teammate
Axel Huerta was second — both earned All-Region honors.

"We trained pretty hard this week and maintained our intensity. We ran a full squad for our guys, and were very good at picking it up if a guy was falling back. Nicholas ran a tactical race and Axel earned a PR at 8k on a very difficult course.''
