The Chaparrals prepared for next week's NJCAA Region 4 meet, competing Friday in Bradley University's annual Pink Classic.

The Chaps raced in the men's White division, with All-American Kevin Diederich leading the way in 29th, finishing the 8,000-meter race in 25 minutes, 56.2 seconds.

COD races in the Region 4 meet on Friday in Lockport and hosted by Joliet Junior College..
