Sophomore All-American
Kevin Diederich and the Chaparrals matched their skills against four-year colleges during Saturday's Seminole Valley Stampede in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Diederich was the top junior college competitor in the event, running 25 minutes, 49.5 seconds on the 8,000-meter course and placed 25th in the meet hosted by NAIA-institution Mount Mercy.
Claiming a top-50 showing was freshman
Miguel Capulin, running 26:12.1.
The Chaps return to action Oct. 18 at Bradley University.
