The 2021 USTFCCCA Track and Field National Athlete of the Year Kelly Kibler begins her second season as an assistant coach for the Chaparrals' cross country teams in 2025-2026.
The Warrenville native led the Chaps to a NJCAA track title in 2021, winning national titles in the 400 and 800 meters, and ran legs on the championship 4 x 400 and 4 x 800 relays. She also placed fourth in the 5,000.
In 2023, she helped the Chaps to a runner-up finish, by placing second on the 4 x 800 relay, and fifth in the 800, fifth in the 1500 and sixth in the 5,000.
She anticipates earning her bachelor's degree in nursing in 2026 at Aurora University.
