The Chaparrals were sent a message in the first five minutes of Saturday's second half against Triton.
 
The Trojans outscored the Chaps 17-4 to begin the final 20 minutes and handed the hosts a 93-58 N4C loss Saturday afternoon.
 
Sophomore Jason Peace led the Chaps with 20 points, but the Trojans were too strong. David Spell had 12 points with five rebounds, four steals and three blocks, and Donnell Fraley tallied 10 points with seven boards.
 
The Chaps (3-16, 2-6) never led and had a tough time defending against the Trojans (20-2, 8-0), who outscored the Chaps 24-0 from the 3-point line. College of DuPage returns to the court Wednesday night against Milwaukee Area TC.
