College of DuPage faced a formidable challenge in Saturday's opponent, Triton. The Chaparrals fell behind early in their 64-33 loss to the Trojans in N4C women's play.
 
Bethany Imlah led the Chaparrals (3-18, 0-7 N4C) with eight points and Warda Niaz and Allycia Ellis each added seven. Lea Ritchie scored six and Carolynn Keleher five.
 
Controlling the basketball hindered the Chaparrals, who had 38 turnovers on the afternoon.
 
Off the glass, Niaz led the Chaps with 12 and Keleher grabbed 10.
 
The Chaps remain home this week with games against Milwaukee Area TC (Wednesday) and Wilbur Wright (Saturday).
 
The Trojans (15-8, 7-1) were led by Artaisa Gusman's 16 points.
