CHICAGO HEIGHTS (Oct. 26, 2019) — Top-seeded Prairie State scored the game-winning goal in the 87th minute, ending the Chaparrals' season in a 2-1 NJCAA Region IV Division I quarterfinal game Saturday afternoon.

The Chaps finished the year 9-10.

Eduardo Gomez scored for the Chaps on a penalty kick. Goalkeeper Mario Giase had three saves in the loss.
