Chaps save the best for last

Box Score The Chaparrals dominated their game against visiting Kankakee College, but it took the final 30 seconds for them to get the lead.
 
Best Emena's goal in the 89th minute was the difference maker in the Chaps' 2-1 win over the Cavaliers in Region IV play at Bjarne Ullsvik Stadium.
 
The Chaps, now 4-8 overall, are at Truman on Tuesday and take a season-best two-game winning streak into the contest.
 
Coach Jim Kelly's team dominated play, out-shooting the Cavs 16-4. But they fell behind 1-0 when Kankakee took advantage of a Chaps' miscue in the 56th minute on an own goal.
 
The Chaps then tied the game when Javier Lujan cut through a seam of Cavs and scored the tying goal in the 71st minute.
