Jason Peace scored 20 points and David Spell added 15, but the Chaparrals fell behind early and were dealt a 78-55 loss at Rock Valley College in the regular-season finale for both teams Saturday afternoon.
 
The Chaparrals, who played without injured point guard Franklin Montgomery, ended their season 5-20 overall and 4-10 in the N4C.
 
College of DuPage trailed 43-29 at halftime and could not make up the difference against the Golden Eagles.
 
John Detloff added seven points for the Chaps and Austin Esterly had five.
