The Stormers opened the game on an 18-1 run and were in control for the duration. Leading 41-20 at the break, the Chaparrals' foe opened the second half on a 15-0 spurt.
 
Leading the way
Sophomore Jason Peace led the Chaps with 19 points, and forced five steals. Donnelle Fraley scored 12.
 
One-sided stat
The Stormers, who improved to 22-3 overall and 9-1 N4C, outscored the Chaps 39-0 on 3-pointers.
 
Busy Week
COD plays four games in an eight-day stretch that began Saturday. The Chaps (3-18, 2-8) is at Harper on Wednesday night.
