College of DuPage and Madison College played as equals for most of Wednesday night's N4C match, but it was the visiting WolfPack that pulled away in its 3-2 victory.
 
Madison earned a 21-25, 25-21, 25-21, 21-25, 18-16 victory that pushed their record to 4-8 overall and 1-1 in the N4C, while COD dropped to 3-9, 1-1.
 
Sophomore Brili Presbrey led the Chaps with 15 kills, followed by Natalie Payne's 12 kills and Mikayla Wassell with 10. Setter Melody Raices set up 38 assists and pushed up 13 digs.
 
Halyn Balon led in service aces with four and Kiara Negron with three.
 
The Chaps totaled 98 digs. Maddie Shulski led with 26 and Wassell 20.
 
Coach Tolis Koskinaris' team is at the Rochester Invitational this weekend. They play the host and No. 2-ranked Yellowjackets in Friday's opener.
