The Chaps moved the ball around well at times in their 82-44 loss to visiting Triton in the N4C opener for both teams Thursday night.
 
Five Chaps earned assists as they dealt a total of 12 on their 17 field goals for the night. Jaylyn Grant was the focal point against for the Chaps with a team-high 19 points. Teammate Lauren Day pumped in three 3-pointers and finished with 12 points. Allycia Ellis had eight.
 
The Chaps trailed early and went into halftime down 40-19.
 
Jaelah Crosby led the Trojans with a game-high 23 points.
 
The Chaps (3-13, 0-1 N4C) are at Milwaukee Area on Saturday.
