Sophomore Alex Rucinski scored a game-high 29 points and the Chaparrals rallied late in their 61-56 loss at Wright College in N4C women's basketball Saturday afternoon.
 
The Chaparrals trailed 51-37 through three quarters before answering back in the fourth with an impressive 19-10 rally.
 
Jordan Buchelt contributed nine points and Nichele Lodree and Lauren Day each scored six.
 
The Chaps shot 35 percent from the field on 22 of 63 shooting. They were 11 of 15 from the free throw line.
 
Wright outscored the Chaps 18-3 from the 3-point stripe.
 
The Chaps play host to Harper College on Wednesday for their annual Sophomore Night.
