Madison takes control

Alex Rucinski led the Chaps with 14 points, but visiting Madison College was much too strong in its 92-38 N4C women's basketball victory Saturday afternoon.
 
The WolfPack led from the outset. The Chaps trailed 25-13 through one quarter and 46-20 at halftime.
 
Lauren Day and Nichele Lodree each scored nine points for the Chaps.
 
Coach Denise McCance's team is at Joliet on Wednesday night and completes the regular season Saturday at home against Rock Valley College.
