Former head football coach Bob MacDougall, 1943-2021

Funeral services for Bob MacDougall, who served as head football coach for the Chaparrals from 1976-96, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Oct. 12 at St. Raphael Church in Naperville.
 
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Oct. 11 at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.
 
MacDougall led the Chaps to a 174-59 career record in his 21 seasons at the helm. His teams won 10 state championships and made 12 bowl game appearances. He led his teams to a 36-game unbeaten streak (1993-95) that remains an NJCAA record. The 1993 NJCAA Coach of the Year, he was president of the NJCAA Football Association from 1992-97. He was elected to the NJCAA Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 1997.
 
MacDougall died on Oct. 3 at the age of 77.
