Head Football Coach
Matthew Rahn has announced that the Chaparrals will host a spring tryout on Monday, December 22nd.
The tryout will begin at 4 p.m. in the PEC Lobby with sign-in and walk-up registration beginning at 3 p.m. and athletes are asked to enter through PEC Door 1. Tryout will be $50 cash for pre-registration and $60 for walk-up. The tryout is cash only (exact change only) and the fee is payable only on the day of the event. Anyone arriving after the aforementioned time will not be accepted with no exceptions.
Registration is open online until 5 p.m., Dec. 21.

The tryout will take place at Bjarne Ullsvik Stadium, but athletes should be prepared to work out doors if necessary. Any rain out, postponement or cancellation is at the discretion of COD Athletics.
Participants must bring:
- Hard copy of physical examination dated within last calendar year
- Parent or legal guardian if under the age of 18 on day of tryout
- Appropriate workout apparel for outdoors and indoors
This tryout will consist of combine-style testing as well as drills and skills evaluation activities. COD Football staff will be running and evaluating all stations. Potential participants should be aware that this is an evaluation of current skills and physical ability -- it is not an instructional camp opportunity.
If you are selected from the tryout for a potential roster spot for the 2026 season, you will be contacted by COD Football staff for further vetting.
If you are not selected, there will be no follow up from COD Football staff. Due to time constraints, we are unable to provide individual feedback to participants.
College of DuPage Football and Athletic staff reserves the right to refuse participation for any reason deemed necessary.
