Box Score An hour and 38-minute delay due to lightning near campus and a pair of goals from visiting McHenry County College were the difference makers in a 2-0 loss in Region 4 men's soccer Thursday afternoon at Bjarne Ullsvik Stadium.

The loss put the Chaps at 5-6 overall heading into their Saturday game at Harper College.

The game was tied at 0-0 in the 19th minute when lightning was spotted. NJCAA rules dictate outdoor games are delayed for a minimum of 30 minutes per strike.

Play resumed just after 6 p.m. and the Scots struck.
