Nolan Pomatto added a three-run homer in the seventh as the Chaps totaled 10 hits against the Chargers.

Cam Bailey each had two hits, while Vickers and
Gabe Pulido totaled two RBI apiece.

On the mound,
Nick Stacey controlled the Chargers over six innings. He allowed seven hits, struck out eight and gave up three runs — all earned.
Joey Simon and
Ben Steiner each had one strikeout in their relief efforts.

In game two,
Seth Borden connected on his team-leading seventh home run, but the Chaps struck out 12 times against the Chargers' Silas Israel in an 8-5 loss.

Mike Sullivan had six strikeouts, but walked five and gave up five earned runs.
