The Chaps (23-18, 7-3 N4C) are at McHenry County on Sunday, and return home Tuesday against Elgin.

The Stormers scored a pair of unearned runs in the second inning and that made the difference in ending the Chaps' nine-game winning streak.

Nick Stacey produced his best effort of the season, throwing six innings. He gave up six hits with four strikeouts. At the plate, Vickers was the only Chap with more than one hit.

Mike Sullivan controlled the Stormers from the outset, striking out a season-high 10 in just five innings. He allowed just two hits.

At the plate,
Seth Borden homered in back-to-back plate appearances, driving in four, and improving his team lead to 14. He replaced Sullivan in the sixth, and struck out two.

Vickers added an RBI-triple in the fifth.
