COD made a national statement in its first match of the tourney Friday, sweeping fifth-ranked Jamestown 25-11, 25-22, 25-20.
Grace Franz led in kills with eight along with nine digs.
Alyssa Fountain had eight kills and
Emily DeBlecourt had two blocks.
Hanah Friel set up the offense with 18 assists.

The Chaps hit .138, thanks to Fountain's 13 kills in the 25-20, 25-22, 25-22 victory.
Jessica Juerke had seven.
Jordyn Stammeyer served up three aces and
Olivia Witek defended well with four blocks. Fountain had 11 digs and Friel set up 23 assists.

COD featured 43 kills in the 25-18, 25-17, 21-25, 25-22 win Saturday. Fountain led in kills with 14 and Franz followed with 10. Friel and Fountain each had three aces, and Witek and Juerke each had four blocks.
