Box Score One-on-one scoring opportunities gave COD a 3-0 victory over visiting McHenry County College in Saturday's Region 4 men's soccer at Bjarne Ullsvik Stadium.
 
Alexin Hernandez scored a pair of goals and Oleg Greben added the other as COD finished its five-game homestand to begin the season at 2-3.
 
"After five games, we're getting into our groove,'' head coach Zac Ludwig said. "Our three goals were based on solid athletic ability from Oleg and Alexin and defensively, we were strong and Daniel (Villanueva) came through with pivotal saves.''
 
Greben put the Chaps on the board in the 32^nd minute when he broke free past midfield for the score. Five minutes later, Hernandez gave the Chaps a two-goal advantage and COD led 2-0 at halftime.
 
Hernandez scored the final goal in the 65^th minute.
 
Villanueva had three saves for his second straight shutout.
