Rock Valley College, ranked No. 15 in NJCAA Division II, grabbed the early lead and defeated the Chaparrals 106-45 in Region 4 women's basketball Tuesday night.
 
Alyssa Havard dominated for the Chaps, scoring 22 points on 9 of 21 shooting with four 3-pointers. She grabbed four rebounds, dealt three assists and created one steal for the Chaps, who had their four-game winning streak end. They'll take a 7-12 record into Thursday night's game at Joliet.
 
Mykah Berkompas scored in double figures with 14 points. Katlyn Allen led in rebounds with nine before fouling out. She scored seven.
