Gerald Tate scored a season-high 21 points as COD led wire-to-wire in a 91-54 win over visiting North Central JV in men's basketball Thursday night.
 
The Chaps, 14-13 overall, take on Olivet Nazarene JV on Monday night.
 
COD used an 18-5 run later in the first half and led 40-20 on Drew Gaston's 3-pointer with 5:16 left in the half.
 
Gaston and Matt Elliott each scored 12 and Finn Walsh added 11 for COD, which shot 57 percent in the first half.
 
Elliott, Walsh and Jacob Lim each had four assists as COD totaled 23 assists on 36 field goals.
 
Walsh also led in rebounds with 12 boards.

Milwaukee Area TC 109, Chaps 78
Gerald Tate led the Chaps with 18 points and Dermome White added 15, but Milwaukee Area TC, ranked No. 6 in Division II, shot 59 percent from field in Region 4 play Tuesday night.

The Chaps trailed 49-39 at the break, but the host Stormers were too strong, building a 20-point lead with 14 minutes to go.
