A three-day, five-match tourney gave COD its first victories of the seasons as the Chaps went 3-2 at the Monroe College Tourney in New York.

COD, now 3-3 overall, lost 3-0 to Monroe, before answering back with a 3-0 win over Passaic Community College on Friday. In COD's final match, it defeated Middlesex 3-0 on Saturday.

The Chaps are at Aurora on Thursday and participate at the St. Ambrose tourney on Saturday.

The Chaps hit just .125 in the three-set loss.

Mike Fenley each had seven kills, and
Fawaz Ilukoma had six. Libero
John Valencia had nine digs, and Phurin Kosumpiiinun had 21 assists.

Ilukoma's 10 kills paced the Chaps, who .333 on the match (37 kills, 14 errors, 69 attacks). Huberty added seven kills and Fenley six. Valencia led in aces with three and Ilukoma two. Valencia also had 12 digs.
