The first-year Chaparrals men's volleyball program picked up its second victory over the season against Union County CC to highlight three matches at last weekend's Finger Lakes Invitational.
COD, now 5-7 overall, completed its regular season schedule against two-year programs and now faces North Park JV (March 10), St. Xavier JV (March 15) and Aurora JV (March 21) before hosting the NJCAA invitational April 21-22.

Fawaz Ilukoma led in kills with seven in the 25-15, 25-19, 25-16 loss.
Phurin Kosumpiinun dealt 17 assists and
Bo Parker added three block assists. COD hit -.041 (19 kills/22 errors/73 attacks).
John Valencia had nine digs.
Chaparrals 3, Union County 1
Ilukoma led the Chaps with 14 kills and 14.5 points in their 25-16, 25-18, 15-25, 25-18 victory .
Blake Huberty added nine kills and Kosumpiinum keyed 26 assists and two aces. Parker contributed 10 assists, and two aces, and
Ashton Baula led in block assists with four. Perez defended with eight digs and Valencia added seven.
SUNY Potsdam 3, Chaparrals 1
Ilukoma again led in kills with 15 and Kosumpiinum had 28 assists. Perez servced four aces with Ilukoma and Kosumpiinum with two each in the 23-25, 21-25, 26-24, 13-25 loss.
