A back-and-forth contest against visiting Triton on Wednesday night turned into a 1-1 draw for the Chaparrals in Region 4 men's soccer.
 
The Chaps (1-3-4 overall) are at Moraine Valley on Saturday and return home Tuesday against Milwaukee Area TC.
 
Down 1-0 with 14 minutes remaining, the Chaps' Joseph Kim lifted a shot that hit the post and bounced across the line for unassisted goal in the 83^rd minute.
 
Sam Negus was solid all night in goal for the Chaps. He had four saves in his 90 minutes.
