Chaps impress in dominant effort over MATC

Alexin Hernandez gave COD the only goal it needed, scoring in the 51st minute in the Chaps' 1-0 win at Milwaukee Area TC on Saturday afternoon.

COD (5-7, 5-3 Region 4) returns to Ullsvik Stadium on Wednesday night when it takes on Harry S. Truman.

Kickoff for the Region 4 contest is 6:30 p.m.

COD dominated in all facets of the game, out-shooting the Stormers 24-3 and a decided 11-1 edge in shots on goal. Still, it took well into the second half before Hernandez found a clearing, thanks to an assist from Anthony Juarez.

Hernandez has scored six goals on the year, tops on the club.

GK Sam Negus faced just one shot-on-goal in the victory.
