The Chaparrals opened their women's lacrosse program Wednesday afternoon against four-year institution Saint Ambrose at Ullsvik Stadium.

COD was defeated by the Fightin' Bees, 25-4.

The Chaps are at Elmhurst on April 3 and return home on April 11 when they take on the Wheaton College club squad.

• On the opening faceoff, COD grabbed the lead at 13:46 when Iqura Kainat scored from just in front of the net
• The Bees answered back with 12 straight in the quarter
• In the second quarter, Peyton Dykstra scored at 14:30, and teammate Nadji Tyka earned a goal at 10:51
• Chloe Warren concluded COD's scoring with a goal in the fourth quarter at 12:04
