NJCAA D2 Northeast Community College, ranked No. 3 in their division, proved Monday its formidability in an 11-0 victory over the host Chaparrals in men's soccer at Ullsvik Stadium.
 
Edouard Nys and Marius Elmose each scored four goals as the Hawks built a 4-0 halftime lead and went to secure the shutout.
 
The Chaps, now 1-6 overall and 1-2 Region 4, play host to South Suburban on Thursday. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.
 
The Chaps' Harvey Pozo totaled two of COD's three shots and had the lone shot on goal.
