Late goal gives COD the victory

Alexin Hernandez' goal with one minute left in the game gave COD a 2-1 victory on the road at Black Hawk in NJCAA men's soccer Sunday afternoon.

The Chaps, now 3-6 overall, play host to Joliet on Wednesday night.

Down 1-0 at halftime, the Chaps came out determined, scoring in the 49th minute thanks to Dylan Ferreira's spot-on kick from teammate Gael Alfaro.

The game remained tied at 1-1 until Erik Crisostomo found Hernandez, who delivered the game-winning goal in the 89th minute.

GK Sam Negus had two saves in his 90 minutes.
