College of DuPage and the Elmhurst Junior Varsity competed in women's tennis Wednesday afternoon with the four-year school earning a 6-1 victory.
 
According to head coach Jim Bowers, the match was determined 6-1 due to NCAA Division III rules mandating one point for two out of three doubles.
 
Singles No. 2 Phoebe Yu picked up the Chaps' only win on the afternoon, winning 8-4 over Chloe Webb.
 
COD concludes its fall season Oct. 3 at home against Lake County.
