Eric Garcia, who spent four seasons as an assistant coach under Joe Kuhn at Joliet Junior College, begins his first season with the Chaps’ basketball program in 2022-23.

The Lockport native assisted the Wolves from 2009 through 2012, and again during the 2021-22 season. His responsibilities include recruiting, game planning and scouting.

He earned his associate degree at JCC, and later attended Purdue-Northwest, where he assisted the basketball coaching staff for three seasons.

Garcia is self-employed and is a licensed insurance agent based in Lockport, serving residents in both Illinois and Indiana. He and his fiancé, Felicia Moore, are set to be wed this October.
