Former Chaparral Mia Clavelli joined the COD soccer staff as an assistant coach for the 2022 season.
Clavelli, a Wood Dale native, played two seasons at COD (2018 through 2019) and earned All-Region IV and N4C honors her sophomore season, before continuing her playing career at Edward Waters (Fla.) University and Calumet (Ind.) College.
Clavelli will earn her bachelor’s degree in sports management from Calumet this December. Mia also coaches youth soccer in the Chicagoland area, and she is pursuing multiple coaching licenses and diplomas through U.S. Soccer and United Soccer Coaches.
