Franky Martinez is in his ninth season as an assistant coach for the Chaparrals volleyball program, beginning in 2024, and will be in his fourth season as top men's assistant.
He also coaches at Cyclones Volleyball Club on both the boys and girls programs, and is the Oswego boys volleyball varsity head coach and the Rosary girls head coach. He played the sport as a prep at West Aurora High School (2008-11).
Franky preaches hard work and dedication to the sport. His enthusiasm at practice is noted by many, often being heard throughout the gym, motivating players to work hard and have fun.
Franky is USA CAP 1, IMPACT, SafeSport Certified, and received his bachelor's degree in physical education.
