A long-time college athletic administrator, Rich Dawkins begins his fifth year as College of DuPage’s assistant athletic director for internal operations in 2025-26.
Dawkins, a Morrisville, N.Y., native, brings more than 25 years of collegiate athletic experience including 10 years as assistant athletic director at fellow NJCAA Division III member, Herkimer (N.Y.).
While at Herkimer, Dawkins oversaw compliance, eligibility, game and facility scheduling, athletic web site oversight and a host of other administrative responsibilities. His skill set also includes directing several regional and national tournaments at Herkimer, that includes the NJCAA D3 men’s soccer championships.
Herkimer was honored with four NJCAA Division III Daktronics Cup honors, the highest honor an athletic program can received based on championship results.
Dawkins is a graduate of Empire State College, receiving his bachelor’s degree in human development. Rich and his wife Bridgette are the parents of daughters Beth and Anna.
