Jessica Jnobaptiste and Dakota Graham each scored in double figures, but the Chaparrals trailed early and lost to No. 7 Moraine Valley 93-47 in nonconference play Tuesday night at College of DuPage Arena.

The Chaparrals, now 3-11 overall, are off for the Holiday break and begin N4C play Jan. 3 at Triton College. The Chaps' next home game is Jan. 12 against Harper College.

Jnobaptiste led COD with 22 points on 9 of 27 shooting. She also had five rebounds with two assists. Graham came off the bench and scored 15 points on 6 of 17 shooting. Both Jnobaptiste and Graham had three 3-pointers each.

The visiting Cyclones jumped out to a 27-8 lead after the first quarter and led 46-15 at the break. Their largest lead was 54 with 5:48 left.

Bethany Imlah had eight rebounds and Graham grabbed seven.

Julia Ruzevich led the Cyclones with a game-high 17 points.
