Chaps open N4C play at Triton

Box Score RIVER GROVE — College of DuPage trailed early in its N4C opener at Triton, falling 60-28 on Thursday night.
 
Jessica Jnobaptiste played all but 55 seconds and led the Chaparrals with 13 points with five rebounds.
 
COD fell behind 11-5 after one quarter and the host Tritons outscored the Chaps 16-7 in the second for a 27-12 lead at the break. Triton built a 21-1 run in the second half to secure the win.
 
"It was a rough game and cold shooting cost us,'' Chaparrals head coach Denise McCance said. "It's tough playing from behind and we never could catch up.''
 
Dakota Graham had seven points with a 3-pointer and four rebounds. Lea Richie was next with five points. Carolyn Keleher had two and Bethany Inlah had one.
 
The Chaps, now 3-12 overall, are at Milwaukee Area Technical College on Saturday.
