The College of DuPage women's basketball team closed out the 2026 season on Feb. 21 with a road matchup against McHenry County College in Crystal Lake. The Chaparrals battled throughout, playing even with the Scots after the opening quarter and trailing by just five at halftime. McHenry pulled away in the second half, outscoring DuPage 43-38 over the final two quarters to secure an 83-73 victory.
Lexi Lopez led the Chaps offensively with 16 points on 6-of-16 shooting while adding eight rebounds. Aylin Lagunas posted a season-high 14 points, and Erin Brown recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Brown capped off a dominant season on the glass, finishing with 355 total rebounds, the most by a DuPage women's basketball player since 2012.
Cailey Salerno contributed 11 points, shooting 4-of-7 from the field and knocking down three free throws. Saniyya Harvey also reached double figures with 10 points and added three steals.
DuPage concludes the season with an 8-22 overall record.
