Box Score MADISON, Wis. — Down 2-0 in their match against Madison College, the Chaparrals rallied back in their 3-2 win at Madison College on Thursday night in N4C and Region IV play.
The victory was COD's second straight heading into Saturday's play at South Suburban. The Chaps play the host school at 9 a.m., and follow it up against Southeastern Iowa at 11 a.m.
The Chaps, who won the match 6-25, 20-25, 25-19, 31-29, 15-13, fought back from three match-point deficits in the fourth set until they used a four-point run for the victory.
Sophomore
Brili Presbrey led the Chaps with 19 kills with just five attack errors in hitting .368.
Natalie Payne was next with 14 kills and Makayla Wassell added 10.
Maddie Shulski and
Mariana Silva each had four service aces, and Shulski snapped 13 digs and Silva added 12.
Setter
Melody Raices set up the attack with 38 assists.
