Game 1:
The Chaps allowed five unanswered runs through four inning before rallying late. A ground-out by
Josh Veroeven scored
Mike Wagner, and the Chaps then added two runs in the seventh. The Chaps totaled six hits with
Dan Opem leading the way with a 2-for-3 game.
Anthony Fumagalli doubled.
Jake Berger threw 4 2/3 innings and struck out four, but dealt nine walks.

The Chaps were never in the game after Kankakee opened with a 4-0 lead in the first. They allowed two runs in the second, three in the third and five in the fourth. The game was called after five innings. Fumagalli,
