MALTA (Aug. 21, 2019) — The Chaparrals opened their 2019 season Thursday night in a 3-0 loss at Kishwaukee College in Region IV volleyball.

COD dropped the opener by a score of 25-19, 28-26, 25-19.

The Chaps were led by
Mikayla Wassell and
Brili Presbrey, who each had seven kills.
Natalie Payne added five kills. Thirty-two attack errors and 13 service errors cost the Chaps.
What's next?
The Chaps remain on the road when they take part in the McHenry County College Invite, played in Rockford. They'll play Lake Michigan and defending NJCAA champion Owens College on Friday, before playing Waubonsee College and Sauk Valley on Saturday.
