Triton shuts out Chaps

The Chaparrals totaled nine shots with three shots on goal, but visiting Triton scored a goal in each half in its 2-0 win over the Chaps in Region IV men's soccer Tuesday afternoon.

Best Emena fired a shot on goal in the 14th minute and another in the 57th minute. Alfredo Jaimes had the other SOG for the Chaps, occurring in the 52nd minute.

The Chaps, now 1-5 overall, host Carl Sandburg on Thursday. Kickoff is 4 p.m.
